The Russian facility was opened in 2006, thanks to the rapid completion of both building and equipment. The site at Zavolzhie, in the Nizhniy Novgorod region, houses the world's most modern production line for reinforced polyester nonwovens.
The installation of a second line for the production of polyester nonwovens for the geotextile sector, started up in summer 2010, allows Freudenberg Politex to consolidate its leadership in the construction market.
